Default New Sony KV-36HS510, purity question

Ok, I just want to know if I have unrelaistic expectations for this set. In
the top right corner, there is a *slight* blue hue, and the bottom left a
*slight* yellow hue, only really noticeable in pure white screens. They
extend inwards, diagonally, about 1 inch. While watching TV, you don't
notice it, but when a commercial with all white or something comes on, you
can see it.

My Front speakers are older, 1996 DCM's, probably not shielded, and are 4
feet away. Moving them had no effect. My center channel is 1 foot
underneath the TV, underneath 2 shelves of glass. My sub is 12 feet away. I
took the speakers out of the room, and had my wife watch the screen, no
change. I also waved the center directly in front of the screen, to see if
it was powerful enough to affect the screen, but no change..it didn't affect
it at all.. How much distortion is tolerable, expected? Can these TV's
produce a PERFECT 100% white screen? Am I being overly anal? It seems the
only reason I see this is because I LOOKED for it. It isn't some eye
grabbing problem. I got the TV brand new on sale at Good Guys for $999.00,
so am very happy with the deal, but don't know if I am expecting things
large tubes don't deliver.

I also ordered Avia, and will be tuning the TV as best I can with that. Any
tips, suggestions as far as purity?
