Default Digital Research Monitor Dead?

Without seeing it there's really not much anyone can tell you. Is there

a
faint ticking noise? Any funny smells? If you're serious about fixing

this
thing you'll have to pop the cover and do some investigating. Check

voltages
out of the power supply, see if you have the 150-200v B+ at the HOT, and
check that as well as any large diodes and transistors to see if they're
shorted.

Thanks for the response. As I said before no noises, no smells, just blank
screen and the little LED blinking. It worked great in the evening and the

next
morning it would not start. No warning, no symptoms, nothing.

That's pretty typical, it could be a bad solder joint, but often a
transistor or diode shorts the moment the unit is turned on, resulting in a
similar symptom.
