Hi!

If you believe the relay is sticking, you could try prodding it with a well
insulated stick to see if it will release and let the monitor work normally.

Relays do fail...common faults include burned or dirty contacts or actual
problems with the coil inside that does the switching. Even if you should
happen to restore normal operation and the relay seems "fixed" it would be
wise to replace it.
