Default Trouble with ecowater water softener system

Hello world, I have a problem with my water softener system treating
our well water that is about 12-15 years old, at most.

This is an ecowater treatment system that has a yellowish tank with
model number 20114.22. (label also includes 33000 grains with 8.21
lbs of salt, pressure drop will not exceed 15psi at 9 G.P.M.) Several
months ago the water pressure in the house started dropping especially
upstairs; if anyone used water no one could take a shower upstairs. I
wondered if that was because of the well, but I didn't get a chance to
figure it out. Yesterday morning, we found good bit of water in the
basement. It was coming from the valve at the top of the ecowater
tank, just under the water intake line. There is an opening that
looks somewhat like a fuse equivalent of a water system. The valve
itself is black and made from plastic, I think. In the house there
are three valves to bypass the water treatment system, so I did bypass
the system. Now we have spectacular water pressure of untreated
water, even upstairs even when 3 other faucets are running. Next to
this tank there is another one labeled WELLEX-TROL by AMTROL model
WX-202. Salt tank is half full and it has been using good bit of salt.

At this point does anyone know what is wrong with this system? What
would it take to fix it? Is it possible to fix it without reducing
the water pressure and lastly is it possible to fix it without using
ecowater parts and dealers? I don't like giving the business back to
the ones that caused the problem, unless of course if this is not
their fault.

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.
