No it's not. It's a picture of dishwasher reliability from good to bad. It
says nothing of how well they actually clean. I did a lot of research into
this when buying a new dishwasher, but I wasn't limited to $200. You can't
go just by brand either, different models within each brand clean
differently and have different reliability ratings.

At the time, three years ago, Maytag had the best balance of reliability and
cleaning. The Maytag I bought replaced an existing working Whirlpool that
worked fine except it cleaned poorly.

In this case, the poster doesn't care about reliability as he is not
responsible for the repairs. The landlord is short-sighted. I have a rental
unit and I never replace appliances based on the cheapest stuff I can buy.
This means more repairs down the road, and the cost of the appliance is tax
deductible anyway. Plus I want happy tenants that won't move.
