How about *asking* me if I had the latest dictionary file and that the
right one was enabled if you really wanted to help?

Not necessary, because your posts made it clear that you were using the
wrong dictionary.

I have mentioned many a time (inc recently in a tread about Forte
Agent) stating exactly what version I was using.

But not which dictionary you were using.

Get a more appropriate newsreader...

Why would I attention to a thread about software that I don't have and which,
indeed, I've never heard of. Or keep track of what newsreader software someone
uses - I've got better things to do. One might also expect that if someone is
excusing themselves because their software doesn't have an available UK English
dictionary, they'd say so.

Exactly - T i m ' s expectations are quite bizarre.

Yeah, crazy, that I might prefer someone that has a clue to offer me
'help'. (So that doesn't include you obviously).

On that, I can't think of a single instance where you have actually
offered me real help (and I wouldn't bother to help you, even ****ing
on you if you were on fire etc), so why don't you give up?

Cheers, T i m
