Neither my mother or dad was autopsied. They were both in their 80's.
Mother apeared to die of a heart attack as she was walking in the yard.
Dad died at the VA hospital where he was in a nursing home care. I did
not see any reason for an autopsy due to their age and no foul play or
unusual thing.

Had that been in the last year and not about 15 years ago the caus of
death would probably be labed COVID instead of old age.

Maybe I'm naive but I still think most hospitals aren't willing to falsify
their death records. That seems like something that could come back and
bite them in a big financial way.
