At a round-table hearing convened by popular Florida Governor Ron

DeSantis, top scientists and public-health experts from across America and
beyond
slammed face masks, lockdowns, contact-tracing schemes, and dubious

mandates imposed by many other governors and policymakers in response to
COVID-19.
One of the scientists, who has been subjected to Big Tech censorship on

social media, also argued that censoring experts who disagreed with the
establishment narrative was dangerous to public health. In short,

DeSantis is being vindicated.

All the fake “fact checks” in the world could not blunt the devastating

testimony by the highly credentialed scientists and medical experts on the
Florida panel brought together by Florida’s governor. And so, aside from

a handful of local reports trying to dismiss the hearing and demonize the
Republican governor, the establishment media just pretended it did not

happen. Still, the news is getting out. And increasingly, even Democrats
are
realizing DeSantis appears to have gotten it right, despite all the

hysteria from the press and the totalitarians.

"top scientist" Jay Bhattacharya is a Professor of Medicine at
Stanford University. He is a research associate at the National Bureau
of Economics Research, a senior fellow at the Stanford Institute for
Economic Policy Research, and at the Stanford Freeman Spogli
Institute. He holds courtesy appointments as Professor in Economics
and in Health Research and Policy. He directs the Stanford Center on
the Demography of Health and Aging. Dr. Bhattacharya’s research
focuses on the economics of health care around the world with a
particular emphasis on the health and well-being of vulnerable
populations. Dr. Bhattacharya’s peer-reviewed research has been
published in economics, statistics, legal, medical, public health, and
health policy journals. He holds an MD and PhD in economics from
Stanford University.

Not exactly the kind of "expert" I would want making health policy for
novel communicable diseases.

As for Fauici - he recommended against the public wearing masks when
there were not enough available for medical professionals and before
the transmission characteristics were understood - that it spread by
droplets, not airborn virus particles (which masks have VERY limited
effectiveness against) as originally believed.

The New American is a far-right print and digital magazine published
twice a month by American Opinion Publishing Inc., a wholly owned
subsidiary of the John Birch Society, a far-right organization. The
magazine was created in 1985 from the merger of two JBS magazines:
American Opinion and The Review of the News. (Wikipedia)

Not a source I would depend on for unbiased accurate news coverage on
ANY subject.

And the Washington Post and NYTimes are not far-left publications? How
about CNN, MSNBC, NPR, 60 Minutes? All of this is about duelling experts,
just like in a court of law. That is, you post this source that you
believe, and someone else will post another source, with an opposite
opinion, that they believe. Each person posts sources that support their
opinions. The truth is somewhere in the middle, but we won't know for
decades.

What we already know is the extreme right is WAY out in "left field"
