Quite a few Youtube videos showing how to remove a tree stump with the
use of a vehicle. The result is usually the same, either the small stump
comes out of the ground and straight into the back window of the vehicle
or the chain or rope snaps and whiplashes through the back window.

3 doors down the road, a builder went to remove a tree obstructing entrance
for a new house. What he didn't know was that the tree roots had grown up
round the electricity feeder. There was big bang and we lost mains power
for 5 days. There was a genny in our drive - arrived at 2am!
