little something he picked up from the National Socialists when he was

My family and I drove from New York State to Seattle in 1952, for the
most part on the Lincoln Highway. It was a little better than
Eisenhower's experience but not much. Coming back on 66 was a bit
different.


We used to drive to Florida on 301, 15 and 17. It took 2 1/2 days.
(20+ hours on the road) I could do it in 15 hours on I-95.
