To explain further: The vaccine replaces a disease-causing gene with a
healthy copy of the gene.

That mangles the real story and you need to spell out
that that thats a gene in the virus, not in the human.

So it DOESN'T alter the gene, it enhances them with HEALTHY ones of the
same type.
