Who knows why a madman does crazy things? He's a Trumpet,

One obvious purpose is that DeSantis is more concerned with the FL
economy than the sickness and death from Covid. Kind of like your
Mr. B. He didn't want FL to forgo the revenue from Spring Break.
Also, AFAIK, DeSantis didn't shut FL down just now. He opened it all
up weeks ago, the only new
shutdown I heard of was the mayor of Miami declaring an emergency
and putting in place an 8PM curfew. Maybe D was involved and I
didn't hear about it.

There seems to be far more danger from
the thugs that invaded Miami than the virus.

Not convinced that they kill more than the virus.

I suppose time will tell about the virus.
