Given this is uk.d-i-y, I'd have thought the "most
obviously" category would have started right here
with (a) a colourful Dutchman, and (b) a rather nice
family of Germans. I'm not sure we can count that
nuch earlier William guy with the dubious parentage,
since in that case, the crown wasn't really handed
over by choice. :-)
