You idiot. Why do you think there are so many cows? Many, many more
than would be alive in the absence of humans.

People breed them and kill their predators. People cut down trees to make
pasture for cows. It's not one thing. It's everything.

The species has altered the ecosystems of 75% of the planet. That's
a substantial effect.
