The earth cooled from previous high temps precisely BECAUSE the planet has
sequestered that carbon by burying it below the surface.

And neither is that.

We brought it back to the surface and burned it. The resulting CO2 is now,
again, heating the atmosphere and oceans.

That isnt known yet, just claimed.
