I got the same result with my new hacksaw. ;~)
Hacksaw? You're not a _real_ woodworker until you can do it with an
axe. ...and no cheatin' with a Festool axe.
You don't need a green axe, just some MDF and polishing compound.

I would have watched a video titled:
"Make Any Axe Razor Sharp In **90 Seconds** - No Skill Required
Except the video is 13 minutes long.
Just skip through it. I got the gist in under three minutes.
Summary:
Glue two pieces of MDF together to make a 1 1/2" slab.
Drill a hole in the middle the size of your grinder arbor.
Cut the MDF into a circle.
Mount it on your grinder.
Use lathe tools to give it final shape.
Coat the edge with the right grit of grinding/polishing compound.
Rough grind your axe blade.
Finish it on your MDF polishing wheel.
