It would dazzle you as you walked towards it.

That was my thought.

A string of low power lights from the house to the shed sound more
ideal, a little catenary with a 12V feed from the house. We've been told
it is just 5m away too.

A floodlight on the house would be a better bet.

But when you walk back it dazzles you! :-)
