Anyone know what the 'chrome' finish ones are made of? Metal of some sort

Cannot speak for the Homelux brand but every metal tile trim I have bought from numerous suppliers has always been Aluminium which appear to be polished and a coat of clear lacquer applied to keep the shine. I would imagine the Homelux type would be the same. I know that plastic items can be given a €śchrome€ť finish but usually on rigid plastic only as any flexing would cause the finish to flake off.
