My point was that the government has lined us all up before and stuck
needles in our arms. Or made it a requirement for children to go to school.
It's only the last couple of decades that people thought the common good
doesn't matter.

Depending on who you believe, a vaccine may not be effective on this
virus. It all gets back to that immunity question.

Yep. It remains to be seen. I won't be the first in line for a vaccine.
Then again, I don't mind wearing a mask, although when the weather
turns cold it'll make my glasses fog up.
