The Schaghticoke fair was on Labor Day and one of the first fairs in the
area. Like a lot of the names in the area I knew it was of Indian
derivation but I didn't know which ones.

The local Indians haven't had too much luck with casinos. Slots, video
poker, and keno on every corner makes driving to the rez unattractive. I
think there are six live poker rooms in town if that floats your boat. I
don't know about dice.
