I'm just wondering how many cubic metres of water people in this group
use per week or per quarter or whatever. Mine seems very low.

Most of us have a bath or a shower more often than once a season
whether we need it or not.

~200l/day 34cu m in the past 6 months. Just two of us.

Turning the shower water on only while it's wanted has made a huge difference. Most shower water is just wasted.

If you're keen to penny pinch there are lots of ways. Rainwater for bogs, sink & shower water for bogs & garden etc.

I use rain water for the main, daily, flush - got enough for about 7 weeks
without getting sediment.
Shower is on 3.75kW for 90% of the year, so when the incoming water is cool
a shower takes ~7.5 l and ~0.25kWh.
My useage is ~0.3 cu m/week; would be nearer 0.4 if using the flush more.
During summer '18 I looked at wiring the 2 elements in the shower in series
to give just over 2kW (the shower at 3.75kW was almost painful), but there's
a lot of hard linking via the protective features - might do it without the
case but not in situ.
