You mean we townies can have the roads all to ourselves? Excellent!
It's a pity about the revenue losses for downtown and student ghetto
shops and restaurants, though. They're already reeling from the
cancellation of the Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair.

Nebraska head coach, Scott Frost, made the argument that the
players would be better off with a regular season. The structure of
practice, meetings, etc would keep them occupied. Plus the medical
staff would be watching them.
A bunch more young guys free to roam???????
The fans could stay home or maybe draw tickets to see who would.
Maybe 1/3 of the fans could show up on a rotating basis.
The county fairs here were letting the 4H and Future Farmers of
America kids show their animals as is the state fair. No carnival, last
I heard.
The farm show, Husker Harvest Days, has been cancelled. That leads
to a lot of people not buying gas etc.
A former pro football player compared players vs. the support
workers. The players shouldn't have problems paying utility bills and
with house payments.
