I am wondering if anyone has used the alarm system from Lynx. The alarm
itself is made by Ademco, the name of the company is Ameican Home
Protection, in Michigan. They offered to install for free a system that
comes with the keypad, a remote, covers all doors leading to the outside
and
a lot of other bells and whistles.

I also interviewed ADT, and to cover all windows, all doors and 2 motion
detectors, $900.

I think I am going to go for this company, but was wondering if anyone had
any personal experience with this.

I found a site that will monitor my home for 8.95 a month.

google has several that are less than 10 bucks a month.
READ the contract before you sign. My last alarm company had a 5 year
automatic renewal. When I sold my home they wanted 2 years payments. Really
****ed me off.
My new home has an alarm and they would have taken it over, but they wanted
a new contract and 18 bucks more a month than what I was paying. In the
crapper for them
