What is the usual procedure in the USA now for getting rid of an old refrig
and a window air cond that don't cool anymore?


In many communities like ours there are special trash pickup days set aside for
large appliances. A loader puts the junk intoa truck and it is hopefully
disposed of in a environmentally proper fashion. HTH
