Default Dishwasher water chamber issue

Hi all

I have a problem with a slight leak on the inlet side of the water chamber thing on the side of the dishwasher. The chamber has o rings on each of the "pipes" which then locate into the various fittings on the dishwasher. The leak seems to be one of the o rings not sealed properly. So a few questions
1. Should I put the in o rings on the chamber "pipes" and then locate them all into the dishwasher ports or put thebo rings into the ports and locate the chamber pipes into them.
2. If this doesn't fix the leak was thinking if putting some LS-X around top and bottom of the o ring. I believe this doesn't "set" so would enable me to take the chamber back out at another time. Is this correct / is this a good idea?
3. I have tried looking for O rings to replace them but they seem to have a variety of diameter and thicknesses - although I can't find somewhere who specify what they are to compare. Is this critical or is there usually enough flex / stretch to not make this an issue?

Anyone have any other cunning ideas?

Thanks

Lee.
