The virus itself came from China. The source of the infection in New
York looks like it came from Europe. "It" being someone on a plane
from Europe to New York.

I don't remember if that was the very first reported outbreak but
patient zero there was an attorney who had no contact. Two congregants
attended the AIPAC conference and there may have been some spread from
there.
