Seems not long ago B&Q built a new super store nearby at Wandsworth

Now gone, and going to be more 'executive housing'

Oddly, the Homebase is still across the road from it - but think that
will be going soon too.

Does nobody DIY these days?

Of course not. Few can afford to buy houses due to the explosion of the
UK population from immigration from developing countries that Major and
Bliar supported joining the EU.

And it has taken B&Q this long to discover that? But how come the Homebase
opposite still exists? Given their chequered past?

Or are you just banging your same tired old gong?

Think about it. If house prices are so high you have to struggle to buy,
even more reason to save money by DIY.

Remind us the average age where someone buys their first house? And
compare to pre-2004.

Not sure this B&Q was even built in 2004.
