There is no elitism. _ A L L _ without exception are
encouraged to study for the qualifying exams and to take
an interest in electronics.

Perhaps there is a misuse of language here, with
elitism being equivocated with qualified?

For, example, your local GP is not being elitist if
he does not treat as equal someone whose only medical skill
is to apply a Bandaid.
