The NRA is a Us vs. Them situation. They want zero control.

That wasn't the case in the 1970's. Then Heston took over and
the nuts came out to play.

Heston became president of the NRA in 1998. The Brady Bill was passed in
1994. Of course it was Heston that got the NRA fired up.

The NRA wasn't the only ones upset.
