Sure. And it's because Labour left such a deficit.

Do you know why Labour left the 2010 deficit? Any government of the
time would have done pretty much the same.

In terms of economic policy since then it doesn't really matter. The
cuts were enforced by the EU financial stability rules.

Oh! Does this mean we can have rampant monetary inflation shortly?
