No need for a 'smart' meter if it can :-)

There is a hand writing reader on The Apple Seeing AI version, but it still
cannot read most peoples handwriting.
People have complained when they point it at their young wives and it says
probably a 50 year old woman. Not a good idea to allow anyone to see or hear
the result of such programs.
There is a function on mine that is supposed to help you to teach it, so,
it has faces of most world leaders and many celebs already, but you can,
apparently give a name to any face you photograph and its supposed to tell
you who is in the picture. Not had the energy to test this myself.

What would be your reaction if a pair of glasses with a camera in them were
sold? I'd love it as it would make this kind of thing more usable but when
asked, the general public are frightened of the privacy angle, so a company
who does this will, I imagine come in for some criticism.
This is why, I imagine that the cameras on the Echo devices with screens
have a physical cover over them so they can be made blind and obviously so.
