Posting clickbait from an Indonesian IP, for a London owned domain?

What could possibly go wrong... right?

Actually, if you breakup the URL and do a Google search for 'eunsetee m0fj' you'll get a hit
for a YouTube video. 50 seconds of a guy named Barry extolling the wonderfulness of
Ted's woodworking course and the set of plans.

Google says the eunsetee site is safe. It's a URL shortening service that pays the poster for
clicks on the shortened link. I have not tried the actual link, so I don't know you end up at
that video or not.

No you end up at a site for the "greatest HD video player ever".

Not me...

On my iPad I first saw an ad for adf.ly. The ad was basically "shrink your
url, get paid per click, sign up now."

When I clicked Skip Ad I got a redirect message from adf.ly warning
me about a redirect from coowner dot net and was eventually taken to
the Ted's site for the plans. However, another tab opened in the background,
with an ad for something that I didn't look at.

The extraneous tab changes each time you click the eunsetee link, but
you can actually get to the plans site via that link. So basically
what they are doing is paying the person who created the shortened link
but displaying a random site trying to sell you something along with actual
site you are trying to get to.

Still spam, however they package it.

Sounds complicated. I just made a Spam sandwich for lunch and called it
a day. I put mustard on it too.
