With the phone, they would have to also steal my face or my thumb.

That was the whole point of Applepay, it was secure - needing you to be
present with your thumb or face, so no need for a pin even for the
largest or smallest transactions.

My point was, why are fuel stations not accepting Applepay for £30 ?
