I have this problem (age-related!). I used to bleach my white
underpants but in recent times the problem has got worse. I decided to
buy some black underpants at £8 for three pairs from Primark. It has
been a good move. The pants go in with the general wash and I do not
find that the colour runs and stains other items, although it is wise
to be cautious regarding what items are in the machine.
