But, you mentioned earlier extra income for short-term medical bills --
such charging practice as this will likely only add to the actual outlay
by time pay gas and incidentals or at least not be sufficient income to
make any impact whatsoever on that problem...

Apparently the $30 includes the cost of the glass too. He could charge
twice that and reasonable people would be happy, it's still very cheap.
