I have a Garmin Nuvicam in my car which is attached to the windscreen

the GPS falls into the car setting off the alarm.
Does anyone know of an alternative fluid that one can use to attach
the sucker that would not dry out on hot glass?
I got a new suction mount from a Chinese eBay seller when the plastic of
the old one hardened and failed to seal properly. Cost was silly cheap,
quality seemed as good as the Garmin one.
Cheers.
