Damn Andy. Never enough details. Is it solid, laminated or what?

Details matter. You just never catch on.

Cursing not necessary. I gave a picture.

If it's wood it is a solid as opposed to a gas or liquid. :-)

It is not made of layers per say but looks to be made of pieces of wood attached to each other.

When I looked at it from the side, I saw finger joints.

Since it is not cut from solid wood, it may be for underlayment.

Just a guess.

Looks like everyone is stumped.
