Apparently many years ago now, one that was being decommissioned( trashed)
in the Isles of Scilly vanished one night never to be seen again. It was the
type that sat on a pedestal in the village square, I seem to remember the
news item.

When I was young I used to love playing with the little flap over the slot
where they came out of I recall.
