it is a bit hard to tell from that angle but it appears to have corners so could
be a leftover "squaerial" Cannot remember the company name but it was a
satellite TV provider which was taken over by Sky and is one of the Bs in BSkyB.

Neither! its an Ionica aerial an ill fated phone service via microwave
radio that, well seemed a good idea at the time, but they could only
supply a two line service and that was it at around the time the cable
co's who could do phone lines, TV and although it maybe wasn't realised
at the time Broadband albeit at 512 K down luxury after dial up so with
competition like that the customer database from hell that No one else
wanted they didn't last that long.

In fact a local aerial firm made more then they did by charging punters
to take the things down!..
