America is spiralling downward.

The nations military power is waning, and in some cases has been
eradicated, while authoritarian rival countries are growing stronger and

In the case of a new major war with rising China or Russia, the United
States stands to lose.

This is the grim new warning issued by a team of former security
officials and military experts and offers a worrying perspective shift
on what has long been considered the worlds greatest superpower.

€śThe security and wellbeing of the United States are at greater risk
today than at any time in decades,€ť the National Defense Strategy
Commissions report notes.

€śAmericas military superiority has eroded to a dangerous degree.

€śAmericas ability to defend its allies, its partners and its own vital
interests is increasingly in doubt.

€śIf the nation does not act promptly to remedy these circumstances, the
consequences will be grave.€ť

Any real war between super powers would go nuclear in a day or two

It didnt in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria etc etc etc.

and we all lose. That is why we have been having these "away"
wars for the last 70 years where we blow the **** out of some
3d world country while our countries stay safe.

Nope.

The reality is the last war we had on US soil was between ourselves.
Prior to that. over 200 years ago we reran the revolution we had a
quarter century before with the same outcome.

And with WW1 and WW2, the world moved on, as it always does.

You either did not read or did not understand what I said.

We'll see...

In all of those wars in the last 70 years after WWII, none of
the super powers actually had their home country threatened.

Just as true of WW1 and WW2 with the USA.

If the had, the nukes would fly.

Dont believe that. It would in fact just be more conventional
warfare, because the consequence of full nuclear Armageddon
are just so utterly unspeakable and useless for everyone except
a few places on the other side of the world like say the bottom
of South America and say New Zealand etc. Even Australia wouldnt
be immune given the US satellite bases there like Pine Gap.

Certainly we had plenty of wars between super powers but
none of them threatened a single person living in the homeland.

Neither did WW1 and WW2 with the USA and Canada.

We always did it in some 3d world ********.

And thats because the consequences of a full
nuclear Armageddon are so utterly unthinkable.
