**** happens. Like the Wiki article states Peshtigo was upstaged by the
Chicago fire although there were only about 300 killed in Chicago. Parts
of Michigan burned the same summer with about 500 casualties.

Nobody was beating the global warming drum in 1871. This isn't to
downplay the Camp fire but **** does happen.
