John I already have transferred the old (1995) software by painful floppy !
The new machine (Compac DC7600) is up and running the software though not
yet driving the machine

What I'm trying to set up to do is generate CD's on the lathe to archive (or
off machine modify) parts programs, tool lists, operation sequences etc
