Fusion GPS - Interview Transcript

About halfway through this 312 page, PDF transcript, which was released
last night by Senator Diane Feinstein.

So much for the Fascist's claim that the Steele dossier is bogus and
has been disproved.

Trump can't get any traction, it just keeps looking worse for him and
his criminal cabal.

I read excerpts and thought the same thing. The Clinton campaign wanted
opposition research, hired FGPS, that's perfectly normal. They didn't
start with Russia, they started with his past business history, deals,
bankruptcies, foreign deals, etc. Eventually they hired Steele to find
out what he could. As part of his work, he talked to Russians in the govt
or close to it. He reported what he found. And it concerned him to such
an extent that he also informed the FBI. Sounds like Steele was way more
of an American patriot than Don Jr, Manafort or Kushner.

One thing there I did not know, the head of FGPS and their lawyer were
unwilling to disclose some sources, citing that some Russians connected
with this have already been killed. That's the first time I heard that.
But I also remember that one of the Russian top diplomats to the UN died
somewhat mysteriously a year or so ago, right? It would not be at all
unusual for Putin to whack people if he thought they knew too much and
were a risk.

So, all in all, IDK what was supposed to have been done here that was
so wrong by either FGPS or Steele. There is the allegation by Lindsey
Graham that Steele may have lied to federal investigators, but since
nothing more in the way of details was given, no way to know what that
is all about. And note that FGPS and the Democrats wanted this report
released and made public, it was the GOP that was blocking it. Usually
when you're trying to hide something, you're guilty of something wrong,
you don't want it made public.
