Reason given by one manufacturer who supplies in UK and elsewhere
is that in the UK, men choose the toilet and don't consider skid marks
an issue because someone else always cleans them off.

I keep meaning to see how effective a coating of Rain X,the stuff sold
for vehicle windows would be . Has any one every tried it in such an
application and did it last well enough with any regular cleaning to
be be worth applying it ?
