You're one of the lucky ones. Most LED lights are so dim you can't see
the end of your own arm.

I replaced a fluorescent fixture with a LED and it's sweet!. More light
and the best part is the color temperature is selectable. I leave in on
Nordic white but it does 'warm white' if I want to feel like I'm living
in a cave with guttering candles.
