I remember that day having to replace maybe $100 worth of surge
protectors going to TV, computers and the like.Â* There were even scorch
marks at some outlets.

Nearby lightening strike took out my 32" CRT TV. Forced me to go out
and buy a 47" flat screen. Had to replace a burned circuit breaker too.
