Never said it would, I JUST said that lower voltage doesn't
necessarily mean THICKER wire with an electric blanket.
What makes you think an RCD will trip during an electric blanket fire?
Never said it would but it clearly would reduce the chance of
ELECTROCUTION and that is why some prefer low voltage blankets.
