I have heard of a way of winning at roulette which they don't allow, like card counting you get barred from casinos.

It's been done very profitably. But it only works with physical roulette wheels, online gambling using random number software won't work.

jackpot247 uses a real wheel or so they say which would be risky if they were lying.

Even if all their online results were derived from one, they would still have checking software that picks up on real winners,

A real winner would be redefining the laws of probability,

bzzt, you don't know your history or understand how it's done.

they might have software for detecting cheating.

and real winners - they do exist, and casinos ban them if they win repeatedly.

which of course are a big red flag. Detecting winners is a much slower process f2f.

They list some 'winners' on screen.

those are normally losers. A 'winner' is in most cases not really a winner

the only important thing is not to be so stupid as to gamble at all..

I sort of agree, I don;t see the harm on betting a few quid on lottereis and the like if they are properly run and regulated.
I'd rather do that than have a fancy coffee.

if you want to give you money away, pick a charity.

The national lottery does support various charities and causes, so even when you do lose hopefully a charity wins.

various causes yes. Having seen some I wouldn't choose to donate to them

I say that but I did profit nicely on it as a teenager, it was easy money, but 99.99% of people that gamble don't have a profitable strategy and just lose. Gambling is something that very much attracts fools.

Yes, the most amusing for me is when I get off at leyton station sometimes there's someone with the 3 cups and a ball, some innocent idiot hands over £20 note and then the ball isn;t where they think it is. I like standing and watching as it;s only a few steps from the bus stop.
Starnage that those that do win hang around and seem to be able to talk to the person in their own language or in broken English.
a friend of mine used to be a lookout for cops in oxford street while his mate sold channel perfume from a suitcase on a makes hift table.

Pretty much every gambler has a losing strategy. It's amazing that so many think otherwise. It's a mug's game for about 100% of players.

can't be 100% otherwise why bane certain individuals from playing and some people do win the national lottery,

I said about 100%.

Which is why some believe they can beat the odds because it does happen.
Unless you can prove to me that no one has ever won the jackpot on the national lottery.

it happens both by chance and by people knowing what they're doing. Odd that there are so few of the latter.

I won £38 once :-)
Of course spendign a few quid a week for a few years over shadows that but a limted few have won significanty more.

really it was a loss.

That depends how long you play for.
I;d say all of the people that win £1 million are more are winners not losers I doubt they've spend over a million pound on tickets.

lol of course.
