Sweet Jaysus, a soap opera that been going on for 57 years? While what
passes for our public TV station loves Brit shows, possibly because
they're cheap, I don't think they ever got into that one. A couple of
episodes of 'Doc Martin' is enough.

Just about. My TV is basically the display for the DVD player though I
do infrequently watch PBS shows like Austin City Limits that are
broadcast. It is a revelation to me when I''m traveling to see the
number of channels on the motel TV. It sometimes takes me 5 minutes to
cycle through them all before I shut the damn thing off and go back to
reading.
