Default Steam Engine Conversion

so doubt anyone will reply to this. The thread is over 17 years old but who knows maybe someone will happen to google this as I have. looking to go hybrid with a damaged engine salvage Anyway have a 383 stroker (assuming just modded crank/cam not bore) TH350 transmission, 3 speed automatic that threw a conrod from oil leak ( you can tell by discoloration of rod) broke from the large/crank end, bearing seized and it went through my oil pan haven't disassembled yet but what's the likely hood it can be fixed by sleeving? I've read about the steam powered Chevelle, anyone updated on its running status? Though it does only get about 55 mph top speed what about adding an electrical assist for EV conversion? This way could be done likely very cheap with current part salvage and forklift motors? Would definitely wanna go for AC vs D.C. , DC might be cheaper to purchase but not in the long run and not as efficient on hills or with heavy weight loads. With A.C. its very simple to get regenerative breaking and to add a generator but wondering about running this with a internal combustion engine since TH350 have 4WD conversion transfer cases options with Dual stick shift for control of the opposite axle mines currently a RWD . You'll have to have 2nd transmission but wondering if a generator would suffice? Since that's an available powertrain in certain hybrids and there's already a part available for dual transmissions because many old jeeps have the same trans for 4wd setups
